Buddy is a young dog
with a lot to offer. He got that outstanding headpiece and expression to
just melt you from his daddy Jack, and his famous granddaddy BIS, BISS Ch. Ridge
View Heartland Hit Man ... as well as the body type and movement. And,
from his mama's side, he has a superior nose and working ability, being a
grandson of the first Labrador in breed history to have a show championship AND
a Master Hunter title in two countries ...

Clarion's Bad As I Wanna Be, MH, CD, WC, CGC, Can. MH, WCX. Buddy
is a more moderate dog, very athletic, and has a wonderful congenial
temperament, tries so hard to please and is very loving ... with a sense of
humor. Buddy's littermate Romeo is ready to finish his certification as a
search and rescue dog, and another littermate got his CGC at a very young age.
Berry is a beautiful
bitch with a fabulous pedigree. Her daddy is "James", MBISS Am,
Can, Int'l. CH Beechcroft Study's Top Secret, who broke the record for the most specialty
show wins in breed history in his short time here in the U.S. I feel
honored to have had the opportunity to breed to him. You can see more of

Berry's mama, "Clarice" is lovely enough that I was able to finish her myself,
without any professional handlers ... and is a favorite here at Tealwood, my
best bed partner! Berry is very well balanced and has beautiful angulation
front and rear (including that rare correct front angulation and upper arm!), a
strong topline, nice reach of neck, excellent coat and a lovely headpiece.
She moves beautifully and is a strong retriever ... as well as an outstanding
soccer player!
I expect some very
nice looking dogs, correct to the AKC standard, with wonderful temperaments.
We will have nice companion dogs with high intelligence and
strong hunting/working ability, and potential for service dog work, therapy
dogs, drug detection, maybe search and rescue. Inquiries are welcome.
UPDATE:
Although I had hoped
for more puppies, Berry whelped 4 beautiful babies on her due date of November
17. All came out kicking and strong, all doing well. We have 1 black
male, 1 yellow male, 1 black female and 1 yellow female. Way to go, Berry!
And, between this breeding and the whelping, I had Buddy's final OFAs done
... came back EXCELLENT on hips and elbows normal!
