I am thrilled with this girl, love her personality and intelligence! Berry is very well balanced, with a
lovely reach of neck, strong topline, good angles front and rear, a fabulous coat, beautiful movement and typy headpiece. She's a
wonderful retriever, quick learner and I love how she stands 4-square with her tail wagging like a big rudder!
I have high hopes for Berry. She
made the final cut at the Winnebago specialty, her first show. But
she's maturing very slowly so won't do much showing until she matures. She did really well at the LRCTC specialty
(her 2nd show) ... won her Sweeps class and her Regular class! In Oct
2010, Berry took 2nd in the big bred-by class at the Bare Bones Specialty under breeder judge Judy Heim.
Recently, we haven't been able to do much showing, but she took a major
reserve in Richmond in 2011. After her litter, we'll hopefully be able
to get her back into the ring.
