"Beau"

I'm saving this page in my website just because it was so heartwarming to get this sweet old dog placed in such a wonderful home for his senior years.  So Beau's original family for his first 9 years, and his new family, can visit Beau's page and enjoy looking at his pictures and remembering.  (Me, too!)

UPDATE:  Beau has a wonderful new home!

Because so many of you tried to help find a good home for Beau, I want to post an update.  I received a phone call from a wonderful couple, a pastor and his wife, who had adopted a 2-year chocolate male named Louie from me 7 years ago.  They adore Louie (who goes to church almost daily, snoozes in the pastor's office) and were hoping to add another nice dog to their family.  They ended up taking Beau home Friday 3/6 and he is doing wonderful.  It looks like Beau and Louie will become fabulous friends, they'll both get lots of love, go to church regularly, go swimming and have visits from the grandchildren.  I am SO happy how this turned out!  Below are a couple pictures of Beau leaving with his new daddy.  Thank you all for your efforts to help Beau.

Beau currently lives in the Twin Cities, MN area, waiting for someone who wants to share his gentle, unconditional love.  He will be placed without fee to the right home.

Beau was one of my puppies from the Molly/Doc litter.  He went to a wonderful home as a puppy and has lived a good life, just like one of the beloved children ... as these pictures clearly depict.  Now, due to personal circumstances, they can not keep Beau.  It's breaking their hearts, and mine, but they haven't been able yet to find a suitable home. Beau is completely reliable in the house, well-mannered, knows basic commands, a good traveler.  He is a sweet, gentle soul, loves all people and other dogs.  Beau is in good health, still likes to play and retrieve, but obviously is very happy snuggling or snoozing by someone's feet.  He is accustomed to being in the house, getting love and attention, so that is a prime requirement.  He was raised with young children and obviously was completely trusted to be tolerant and gentle.  He is neutered. Beau is a littermate to my beloved Karina, from whom I have numerous wonderful children, grandkids and great-grandkids.  It's a fabulous pedigree for good temperament, intelligence and health/genetic soundness.  Karina and her daddy both were OFA excellent, so I'm not surprised that Beau is still in wonderful condition.  Please contact me if interested.
