This is an interesting breeding and I'm anxious to see what is produced. It's an outcross going back to a multi-dual champion in France who was the #1 Lab in France from 1993-99 and #2 dog in Switzerland 1998-99 ... Int'l CH, French F.T. CH Carromer's Charlie Chalk.
The sire, CH Wingmaster Justa Country Boy, is a lovely dog with a wonderful "life's a big party" personality who I believe will offer all the specific things I was looking for to improve on. My Molly is a very nice bitch who produces beautiful heads, fronts and coat, intelligence, strong retrieving/hunting instincts and sweet, loving temperaments. Take a look at the litter she produced last July sired by Ch. Ridge View Heartland Hit Man (under Previous Litters); I kept three pups myself, Jack, Janelle and Jasmine who are developing beautifully and have the ideal joyous, loving Labrador temperament. Janelle recently made me very proud by taking Winners Bitch from puppy class for her first champion points ... 2nd show out, only 10 months of age!
I expect some nice show prospects from this breeding, happy, loving temperaments for wonderful family companions, and pups that could successfully do obedience, agility and/or hunt tests ... true all-purpose Labs.
UPDATE: Nine lovely puppies were born early morning July 21, 2002 ... 3 yellow males, 3 black males, 2 yellow females and 1 black female, ranging from 14.5-18 ounces. Mama and all the pups are doing well, pigment on the yellows is wonderful, already black at 4 days! Updated puppy pictures will be posted on a regular basis.
