Tealwood's
Majorette (blk/y/c)
Legacy's
Major Mandigo x Legacy's Stage Hand
Lydia
has gone to live with my good friend Pat Cobb at Legacy Labradors in Terlingua,
TX. It was from Pat, many years ago, that I got Lydia's daddy as a puppy
... my beloved Major. And I got Lydia's mama, Mable, from Pat when she was
about 15 months of age. So Pat is happy to get these bloodlines back to
her breeding program and Lydia is very happy in her new home with Pat and
Guy. Lydia will always have a special spot in my heart.

Finally
I have a lovely daughter of my beloved "Major" and she shows a lot of
her daddy in mannerisms, expressions, intelligence and level of
confidence. Lydia and her littermate sister "Pink Girl" were swimming and
retrieving out of water at 9 weeks of age ... not a surprise to me for this
particular litter. Lydia took to birds on her first introduction, picking
up the entire body and bringing it in. She has a wonderful,
congenial temperament, loves people, dogs and life. I expect Lydia to be a true all-purpose Lab, able to
excel in obedience, agility and hunt tests as well as conformation.

These
pictures were taken on 4/29/07, Lydia's last night in Wisconsin.
I
took her out to the pond, just her and I, for a good swim and retrieving
session.
